Acmeda Roller Blind Component Selection
Acmeda Roller Blinds are manufactured in a number of component variants based upon the size (diameter) of your blind tubing and the date when your blind was manufactured. The various components are often not cross-compatible so it is important to select the correct variant for your particular blinds.
From Left to Right:
RB08 40mm
The RB08 40mm model refers to blinds where the idler (pin end) uses a metal pin of approximately 3-4mm diameter, and the blind tubing measures approximately 38-40mm in external diameter (outside edge to outside edge).
RB08 40mm idler ends have 2 raised sections and 6 fins, and the clutch ends have 6 fins.

RB08 45mm
The RB08 45mm model uses the same pin style as the 40mm model, but the components are slightly larger to be used in blind tubing measuring 43-46mm in external diameter.
RB08 45mm idler ends have 2 raised sections and 8 fins, and the clutch ends have 8 fins.

RB09 45mm
The RB09 model refers to blinds where the idler (pin end) uses a plastic pin of approximately 10-12mm in diameter. All RB09 components are made in the '45mm' size for tubing measuring 43-46mm in external diameter.
RB09 45mm idler ends have 8 fins but no raised sections, and the clutch ends have 8 fins and a notched tab at the 'pointy end' used to separate the cover plate from the clutch when installing a chain.
